Dressings and Dips

Can you imagine a salad, vegetables, or fruits that can talk and complain that they need something “extra” to add more taste to their lives?

Often I’ve felt like I was missing something, and today I discovered when I feel that way, what it is that I’m feeling. The feeling is a disconnect from the spirit of Christ. Yet, I know that Christ never leave me; it is I who moves away from him. I discovered this in Doctrine and Covenants 84:49

As I contemplated this FIRST commandment given by Jesus, I decided to put Him and Heavenly Father FIRST in my life by praying FIRST thing in the morning. Along with prayers, I opened my scriptures to read and receive personal guidance BEFORE I began my day.

I would like to say this is my routine every day, but sometimes I slip up. I know when I actually, not in theory only, put my Savior and my Father FIRST in my day,

Minimum Daily Requirements are not enough

We are taught to pray morning and evening, along with scripture studying and reading. I’ve discovered twice a day–the “minimum daily requirement” is not enough for the spiritual strength I need.
